PepsiCo announces a new HR Director for the East Balkans region
PepsiCo, one of the leaders in the food and beverage industry, announces the appointment of Silvia Petre as HR Director of PepsiCo East Balkans, starting from March 1, 2024. Silvia will report to Inna Yakovchuk, CE HR SR Director, marking a new stage in the strategic evolution of the human resources department in the East Balkans region.
With vast experience in the field of human resources, accumulated over more than 15 years of career, Silvia has demonstrated remarkable competencies in various domains, significantly contributing to business development. She has played key roles in compensation and benefits management, later in strategic collaboration for the Commercial function, and most recently for the Marketing and Insights department at the level of Central Europe.
In her new position, Silvia Petre will oversee the strategy regarding the planning and development of PepsiCo’s most valuable resource – its People (People of PepsiCo), managing talent development strategy and improving operational efficiency in the region. Her objective is to promote an inclusive work environment and support PepsiCo’s sustainable growth in the East Balkans region.

Silvia takes over responsibilities from Annie Griffith-Swain, who has led the HR department for the past two years and has contributed to accelerating PepsiCo’s talent management and professional development agenda through projects such as the East Balkans Leaders Forum or the Frontline Managers Academy.
