At Balchik Airport, up to thirty Romanian aircraft will touch down to commemorate Schengen admission
The beach resort Albena said on Thursday that up to thirty Romanian planes are scheduled to dock at Balchik airport on April 13 to commemorate Bulgaria and Romania’s entry into the Schengen area by air and water on March 31.
The resort further stated that small aircraft pilots are the target audience for the event, which will be jointly organized by the administrations of Balchik Airport and Tuzla Airport in Romania. Beginning on April 27, all services provided by Balchik Airport and Tuzla Airport to pilots from Bulgaria and Romania will be provided at no cost. Demonstrating the streamlined process for welcoming foreign flights is the goal, along with fortifying ties between aviation community members in the two nations.
All participants will have access to an official portion and celebration during the event, and those who would want to stay the night on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast can arrange for transportation and lodging at the Albena vacation resort at an extra cost. Because of its five-star hotel with an Amelia motif, which honors Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to cross the Atlantic, the Albena resort is well-liked among pilots.
