Leadership Changes at CC Trust Group AG
Dr. Peppi Schnieper has been appointed to take on the role as Chief Executive Officer of CC Trust Group AG as of April 1, 2024. This leadership change is a step in the future development of CC Trust. Lucia Waldner, who had led CC Trust Group AG since 2019, will pursue a new role outside of the company. Concurrently with Dr. Schnieper’s appointment, the Group designates Carmen Jacob as Head Family Office Operations.
CC Trust Group AG has appointed Dr. Peppi Schnieper to take on the role as CEO as of April 1, 2024. The appointment follows Lucia Waldner’s decision to step down as CEO after five years with the Group to take on a new challenge outside of the company.
In his role, Dr. Schnieper will drive the future development of CC Trust Group AG, taking into account the steadily expanding activities and international footprint. Dr. Schnieper will also be involved in strategic investments, either as a member of the Board of Directors or through key strategic positions, such as in his current role as Group Chief Value Officer of Chain IQ Group AG, which he has held since May 2023.
Prior to joining CC Trust and Chain IQ, Dr. Schnieper was a seasoned manager and partner at Bain & Company, where he was a member of the EMEA Financial Services and Global Wealth and Asset Management Leadership, including as Head for EMEA Wealth and Asset Management. Before joining Bain, Dr. Schnieper led the strategy consulting practice for EY Switzerland and was a member of the company’s global Wealth and Asset Management Leadership.
Concurrently with Dr. Schnieper’s appointment, the Group designates Carmen Jacob as Head Family Office Operations. Jacob joins CC Trust from Centogene, where she acted as Director Pharma Commercial Operations and Chief of Staff. Previously in her career, she worked almost a decade at Boston Consulting Group.
“It is an honor to lead CC Trust Group AG and build on its strong foundation. I look forward to driving positive change, further developing the company, and achieving additional growth together with the team. In this exciting time for our businesses and our Family Office, I am confident we can shape the future of CC Trust Group AG and our investments to deliver their full potential. I would like to thank our Founder and Executive Chairman Claudio Cisullo for his trust and the opportunity he has given me,” says Dr. Schnieper.
“I am convinced that Peppi is an excellent fit for the position as CEO of my Family Office. With his forward-looking approach and solid background in wealth management, he is excellently positioned to lead the company to new heights. At the same time, I would like to thank Lucia for her significant contribution to the success of CC Trust during her tenure of more than five years. She has played a pivotal role in further developing the company’s activity portfolio, driving Group strategy, and fostering business relationships. Finally, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Carmen as she joins our esteemed team at CC Trust. I wish Peppi, Lucia, and Carmen the best of success in their new endeavors,” says Claudio Cisullo, Founder and Executive Chairman.
