MURMUR, Hollywood Celebrities’ Favorite Brand, Launches First Lingerie Line
After more than a decade of highlighting feminine silhouettes through its prêt-à-porter collections, MURMUR, the renowned Romanian brand that has captivated the wardrobes of international celebrities like Lady Gaga, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton, is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its first lingerie line. On February 14th, MURMUR Lingerie will unveil itself as a celebration of femininity, offering modern women a new way to express sensuality.
The official launch of the MURMUR Lingerie line on February 14th marks a historic moment for the brand. After over 11 years dedicated to prêt-à-porter collections, during which it has explored and redefined shapes and silhouettes inspired by the 1950’s boudoir, MURMUR reinterprets for the first time the brand’s signature pieces in a lingerie collection that combines luxury and comfort.
The line highlights luxurious, semi-transparent, comfortable and ultra-elastic materials designed to perfectly fit the natural shapes of a woman. Whether it’s about wire-free corsets, elegant bodysuits, or versatile accessories, all pieces of the MURMUR Lingerie collection are created to be worn both in the privacy of home and as statement pieces in everyday outfits.
„I wanted to explore the relationship between clothing and body, showcasing the retro lines of my signature designs in a way that offers total freedom to the wearer. I eliminated wires and typical constraints, offering flexibility through ultra-elastic materials instead, which allowed us to cater to a wide range of sizes, from XS to XXL,” said Andreea Bădală, designer and founder of MURMUR, about the new lingerie line.
The lingerie line debuted in New York in July 2023, where it was enthusiastically received by the American market. Starting this month, the collection is officially available in over 20 specialized stores in the United States, thus strengthening the brand’s international presence. MURMUR was also part of the jury at The Best of Intima Awards 2023, one of the most prestigious lingerie events in New York, demonstrating the brand’s influence and recognition in the industry.
